DeAndra "DJ" Wilson is a housing advocate with a strong foundation in sales, banking, and mortgage services. She began her career in customer service and sales roles, later joining BB&T Mortgage as a customer service representative and mortgage loan processor. Her ability to build trust and navigate complex systems laid the foundation for her transition into the nonprofit sector.
In 2022, DeAndra began her work in housing-focused nonprofits through Rebuild Upstate, where her passion for housing stability and community impact took root. She currently serves as a Housing Navigator with the Greenville Homeless Alliance, where she forges partnerships with landlords and connects individuals experiencing homelessness to stable, supportive housing opportunities.
In addition to her professional work, DeAndra is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority, where she helps guide strategies to expand access to affordable housing throughout the region.”
