Who Can Attend Focus Groups: Focus groups are FREE for UCREIA members and reciprocal REIA members. The Guest fee is $10 per meeting per person. Contact the focus group leader to verify schedule and locations since they change from time to time. You can also join the Online Email Group to keep up to date on location and topics covered at the meetings.
NOTE – Some venues expect attendees to purchase food and to leave a tip for servers, if appropriate.

Experienced Investor Focus Group Each month there will be a different topic. The presentation and discussion is geared to a more in-depth study of real estate related topics for intermediate to advanced investors. The presentations may be by local or nationwide professionals, such as investors, lawyers, accountants, appraisers, business leaders, consultants, etc.

Rental Focus Group - Discusses issues of interest to landlords, tenants and property managers, including landlord/tenant law, acquisition and/or lease of rental properties, residential codes, rental announcements, property taxation, grants and other sources of funds for investing in rental property, insurance options, security and theft of personal property related to rentals. Each month there is a different topic.

Mobile Home Focus Group - Features monthly topics and a Q & A session with experienced MH investors, including but not limited to Maria Meinike, Brett Carton, Steven Ancona, Lila Brasher, Rod Holmes and Karla Kuhn. From finances to land acquisition, to evaluating/buying/rehabbing/selling/financing, etc.

DOA (Deals, Offers and Analysis) - An interactive group to analyze your deals using comprehensive tools. Mona Lisa Harrison will walk you thru these tools, help you understand factors determining if the “deal” is a “good deal” or does it need restructuring or is it best to walk away.
